  *The invasion takes place
  *772 Million die from the invasion and the immediate after effects, long term disruption will kill 300 million more globally.
  *Bad intelligence, a rushed targeting list, and simple pursuit of glory leads to hundreds of millions of unnecessary deaths due to the targeting of defunct military assets and the targeting of military facilities inside urban areas. 
  *Staff Sergeant Keith Crawford USMC survives due to being out training when Camp Pendleton was wiped from the map, his wife and two daughters were home and killed. He manages to head north with other survivors after a seal team detonates a W88 warhead inside the main Shil'vati landing zone. They are however dusted by fallout.
  *The parents of Konstantin and Andrei Shelokset are killed when the USS Ronald Reagan is struck by orbital fire one minute and fifty-two seconds after the surrender deadline passes. 
  *Both brothers are separated when an ex-Navy annex is targeted by orbital strikes, said strikes effectively immolate the Lummi reservation of Washington State and most of those that lived within.
