Ghost Fleet trained insurgents and surviving US military now considered ‘regulars’ by Ghost Fleet planners as they’ve been brought up to at least baseline standard by UAS training protocols. This enables them to operate in conjunction with UAS forces and operate UAS equipment to at least a baseline competence level.

    • Abrams Tank Commander
    • September 29 2019, the Shil'vati invasion begins.
    • His Army unit is shattered near Dallas.
    • Retreat to St. Louis: Leads ragtag defense with National Guard remnants, wife and family are in the logistical tail of the unit.
    • Fall of St. Louis, his wife Dr. Lena Greene (25) dies in orbital strike.
    • He finds his surviving children in the basement of an adhoc hospital after finding his wife remains in a blown open pediatric ward…. carbon shadows on the wall from the stirke.
    • Surviving children Sophie (4) and John (2) survive in the basement.
    • He collects them, buries his wife, keeps her ring, and begins to move out west toward the mountains and possible surviving military remnants.
    • They get sick, almost get captured by the Shil'vati who are gathering anyone they find in camps, and they nearly starve to death.
    • They make it to Gunnison before the winter sets in fully and take shelter with a surviving group of Marines and Army personnel in a off map cold war bunker.
    • They spend the next few years before the arrival of the Erbians fighting and surviving, the occupation forces making a large effort to stomp out any military remnants or insurgents but the nature of mountain warfare as well as the demands in the lower areas stretching them thin.
    • The Erbians arrive and effectively curtail most of the Shil'vati access to the redzones citing environmental recovery efforts and the simple fact that humanity is now an endangered species. Victor and his family continue to survive.
    • Ghost Fleet arrives secretly and begins to spirit groups like Victor's offworld along with their families for safe keeping and training.

    • Barely survived the war, sole survivor of his unit from fighting around San Diego.
    • Was 'dusted' by a nuclear strike and spent five years recovering from severe radiation sickness, hair is now streaked with grey and he is also sterile.
    • Ends up joining USMC origin resistance elements that become the Rocky Mountain Militia.
    • Ends up being assigned to Albas Arista, 'Doc Hare', to keep her alive and generally out of trouble.
    • Riddled with PTSD.
    • Assumed entire family perished in orbital strikes but discovers later on his son survived.

• Clarke Nash - 22 M (10 at the time of invasion) - Human

  • Notes - Lost his father, mother, and sister in the initial bombardments, the latter two having been at a hospital on a former military site that was directly targeted (sister with blood cancer?). Father shoved bags into his and his brothers arms and told them to go to a RV point and that he'd meet them there… he never arrived. A friend of their father found them there and took them in with his wife and two daughters before moving to his bug out site. From here they watched as everything burned. Then the aliens came with their own brand of horrors, demands, and expectations for their new human subjects only after paying for it in both human red and alien blue blood.
